The cat I heard audibly and didn't even know the stories about his cats or wanting to return as one. I don't know if they play that through a speaker or something though..the woman's voice is right next to my phones microphone though and is separate from background noise..as if she was following my command to speak directly to my phone. All I can make out is a "pa" sound though 'pill?' something with a p beginning.. Great experience..would love to tour at night. I remember David was working on an essay about Lovecraft possibly visiting Mystery Hill at the time.Wade Tarziahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02876387351164907807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1885320105550742793.post-22832732763372987242013-07-16T20:17:34.543-04:002013-07-16T20:17:34.543-04:00Thanks for the comment Wade! An old friend of mine (David Goudsward) is publishing a book called Lovecraft in the Merrimack Valley. I think it's being released around the NecroNomicon in August. I grew up in Haverhill some tens of miles away, and as a teenager cruising for girls and Lovecraft's New England, my friend and I passed through Cape Ann often. Hammond castle was part of my teenage castlemania (fueled by readings lots of Robert E. Howard sword & sorcery novels). As a kid I didn't appreciate how eccentric John Hammond really was, but someone less eccentric wouldn't have left us such an interesting home to explore. I grew up in Marblehead MA and visits to Hammond Castle were frequent and much-treasured weekend expeditions when I was a child.coyotebanjohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06971598659494084004noreply@blogger.com
